Agenda
성균관대학교 자연과학 캠퍼스는 역사적인 건물들과 미래를 담아낼 새로운 건물들이 공존하는 공간이다. 그러나 이러한 건물들 간의 연결과 조화는 부족한 상황이다. 공학 건물들 간의 복도를 활용해 캠퍼스 공간을 하나로 연결하고, 학생들이 활발히 소통할 수 있는 공간으로 재구성하는 것이 필요하다.
특히, 미디어 파사드는 단순한 외벽을 넘어 학생들에게 다양한 이야기를 전달할 수 있는 매체로 활용될 수 있다. 이를 통해 공공 복도 공간이 풍부해지고, 건물 간의 소통과 연결이 강화되며, 궁극적으로 캠퍼스 공간의 통합이 이루어질 것이다.
In Sungkyunkwan University’s natural science campus, there are buildings that have shared the history and new buildings that will make future history. However, the connection or harmony of these buildings is not well found, It is necessary to create a space where students can communicate actively by connecting campus spaces through corridor spaces between engineering buildings.
Media facade is a medium that can convey a variety of stories to students beyond a facade. It leads students to enrich and enhance the public corridor spaces, and creates people’s communication and connection between buildings. Then, the integration of campus spaces is achieved.
Concept
캠퍼스 곳곳의 공간들에 대한 연결성을 부여하고, 통합적인 캠퍼스를 형성하는 것이 컨셉이자 목표이다. 공학관 건물들 사이의 코리더의 활성화를 통해 캠퍼스 간 연결이 강화되고, 이로써 보행자 친화적인 캠퍼스가 완성된다.
The concept and goal is to provide connectivity to spaces throughout the campus and to form an integrated campus. Through the activation of the corridor between engineering buildings, the connection between campus areas is strengthened, thereby completing a pedestrian-friendly campus.

Design
캠퍼스를 하나로 통합하는 연속적인 센트럴 파크를 형성하고, 미디어 파사드를 활용하여 공학관 사이 코리더를 활성화한다. 이로써 남북방향의 흐름이 연속적으로 형성되며 미디어 파사드가 부착된 루버가 그 흐름을 강조한다.
Our strategies include creating a central park to activate campus life, utilizing media facades to bring energy to the pathways, and forming a continuous flow along the north-south direction with louvers equipped with media facades.
