Agenda
침수피해를 막기 위해 천변의 버드나무들이 벌목되었다. 그루터기만 남은 자리에 나무를 기억하는 장치를 만들고자 한다.
조명을 통해 나무의 그림자를 다시 드리우면서 사라진 존재를 은유적으로 복원한다. 이는 새로운 나무가 자라나 그 자리를 대신할 때까지, 나무가 남긴 공백을 채우는 임시적 장치로 기능한다.
The willows along the riverside were cut down to prevent flooding. In the place where only their stumps remain, a device is created to remember the trees that once stood there.
Through light, the shadows of the trees are cast once again, metaphorically restoring the presence of what has disappeared. Until new trees grow and reclaim the site, the installation serves as a temporary device that fills the void left behind by the trees.
