Agenda
‘유치원다운 유치원은 무엇인가’라는 고민으로부터 설계를 시작했다.
공간지각능력이 발달하는 아동 시기에 다양한 공간감을 경험했으면 좋겠다고 생각해 수직적, 수평적으로 다채로운 공간을 가진 유치원을 설계하고자 했다.
그리고 무엇보다도 아이들이 마음껏 뛰어놀며 에너지를 발산할 수 있는 유치원을 만들고자 마당, 모래놀이터, 옥상정원, 야외무대 등 다양한 실외공간을 계획했다.
마지막으로 아이들의 안전을 최우선으로 생각하여 외부인으로부터 보호되는 안정감 있는 시설 환경을 만들고자 했다.
The design began with the concern of “What is a kindergarten-like kindergarten?”.
I wanted to design a kindergarten with a variety of spaces vertically and horizontally, hoping that children could experience various senses of space with developing spatial perception.
And above all, to create a kindergarten where children can run around and release energy, various outdoor spaces such as yards, sand playgrounds, rooftop gardens, and outdoor stages were planned.
Finally, considering the safety of children as the top priority, we wanted to create a stable facility environment with safety by being disconnected from outsiders to some extent.
Concept
외벽과 내벽 모두 곡선과 곡면을 사용하여 사고의 위험성을 낮추고 유치원에 어울리는 따뜻하고 부드러운 이미지를 주었다.
Both the outer and inner walls used curves and curved surfaces to reduce the risk of accidents and give a warm and soft image suitable for a kindergarten.
Design
다채로운 경험을 하는 것을 가장 우선으로 하여 디자인했다. 각 면에서 가운데 부분을 덜어내고 외부 공간과 접하는 면적을 넓혀 마당, 놀이터, 모래사장 등등 외부 활동을 할 수 있는 공간을 마련했다. 다양한 공간감을 경험할 수 있도록 상부 오픈된 공간, 다락방, 천창 등 수직적인 공간 요소를 넣었다.
도시와 접하는 면은 닫고 자연과 접하는 면은 열어준 뒤, 교실 매스만 루버로 강조하여 입면을 완성했다.
I designed it with the priority of having a variety of experiences. The center part of each side was removed and the area in contact with the external space was expanded to provide a space for external activities such as yards, playgrounds, and sandy beaches. Vertical spatial elements such as upper open space, attic, and skylight were put in to experience various spatial feelings.
After closing the side in contact with the city and opening the side in contact with nature, only the classroom mass was emphasized with louver to complete the elevation.
