박찬욱 감독은 섬세한 장면 구성과 독특한 시선으로 이야기를 표현하는 영화감독이다. 그의 영화적 프레이밍과 공간을 바라보는 시선을 건축적으로 해석하여, 주변의 자연을 하나의 장면처럼 경험할 수 있는 주택을 계획하였다.
특히 삼각형 트러스는 구조적 역할을 넘어 풍경을 담아내는 프레임으로 작용하며, 박찬욱 감독의 영화적 시선과 건축적 경험을 연결한다. 이를 통해 자연을 단순히 바라보는 공간을 넘어, 자연을 하나의 장면으로 담고 연출하며 경험하는 주거 공간을 제안한다.
Park Chan-wook is a filmmaker known for his meticulous composition and distinctive perspective in storytelling. By interpreting his cinematic framing and way of perceiving space through an architectural lens, this house is designed to allow the surrounding nature to be experienced as a scene.
In particular, the triangular truss goes beyond its structural role to function as a frame that captures the landscape, connecting Park Chan-wook’s cinematic perspective with the architectural experience. Rather than simply viewing nature, the house proposes a living environment where nature is framed, composed, and experienced as a scene.

트러스를 시각적 프레임으로 활용해 저수지와 주변 경관을 선택적으로 담아낸다.
Using the truss as a framing device, the house captures the reservoir and surrounding landscape as curated views.
Design
서로 다른 기능의 매스를 연결한 후, 대지 조건에 따라 배치와 높이를 조정하고 중정과 개구부를 형성하며 공간 구성을 구체화한다.
The masses with distinct functions are connected, then reoriented and adjusted in height to respond to site conditions. The spatial composition is further refined through the introduction of a courtyard and openings.
