스위스의 가구 브랜드 Vitra가 제공하는 공유 오피스와 문화 공간 Vitra Office를 제안한다. 오피스 이용자는 일을 하는 동안, 일반 방문자는 쉬는 동안, vitra의 가구와 공간을 경험할 수 있으며 이들은 곧 vitra의 고객이 된다.
I suggest Vitra Office, a shared office and cultural space provided by Swiss furniture brand Vitra. Office users can experience Vitra’s furniture and space while working, visitors can experience Vitra while resting, and both of them are potential customers of Vitra.
Site & Concept
대상지가 위치한 테헤란로는 대한민국의 대표적인 업무지구로, 수많은 기업들이 자리하고 있다.
The site is located in Teheran-ro, which is Korea’s representative business district, with numerous companies.
한편 테헤란로에 입주를 원하는 많은 스타트업들은 높은 임대료와 낮은 공실율로 어려움을 겪는다. 또, 테헤란로는 업무 기능에만 집중되어 활발한 주중 낮의 모습과는 달리 저녁과 주말에는 유동인구가 뚝 떨어진다.
Meanwhile, many start-ups that want to move into Teheran-ro encounter high rents and low vacancy rates. In addition, Teheran-ro is concentrated only on business functions, so unlike active daytime, the floating population drops sharply in the evening and weekends.
Vitra의 공유 오피스는 스타트업을 위한 공간을 제공하며, 저층부의 공공 공간에서는 방문자들이 휴식을 취하거나 가구를 체험할 수 있다.
Vitra’s shared office provides space for start-ups, and in the public space on the lower floor, visitors can relax or experience furniture.
Design
건물의 매스는 Vitra의 대표적인 제품인 panton chair에서 영감을 받아 디자인하였다. 의자의 곡면을 따라 저층부에 커다란 열린 공간과 테라스가 만들어진다. 의자 모양의 매스에는 코어와 서비스 공간이 위치하고 주업무공간이 위치하는 매스가 그 위로 얹어진다.
The mass of the building was designed inspired by Vitra’s panton chair. A large open space and terrace are created on the lower floor along the curved surface of the chair. In the chair-shaped mass, the core and service space are located, and the mass where the main work space is located is placed on it.
