최근, 전기 자동차가 빠르게 발전되고 유통되며 내연 기관 자동차에서 전기 자동차로의 변화가 가속화됨에 따라 도시 환경이 변화하고 있다. 이 변화는 주유소와 충전 인프라에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 주유소는 지속적으로 감소하는 추세이고, 반대로 전기차 충전소는 늘어난다. 주유소를 새로운 형태의 전기차 충전소가 대체한다면, 그 충전소는 어떤 모습일까? 미래의 충전소에게 차 뿐만 아니라 도시의 사람들도 충전해주는, 일상에 녹아드는 쉼터의 모습을 기대한다.

Recently, electric vehicles are rapidly developed and distributed, and the change from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles is accelerating, and the urban environment is changing. Gas stations continue to decline, and electric vehicle charging stations increase. If a new type of electric charging station replaces a gas station, what would the charging station look like? I look forward to future charging stations as a rest area, charging not only cars but also people in the city.

Concept

이미 전기차는 충전기 대비 과밀화 상태이고, 실제로 전기차를 타는 사람들의 고충은 대부분 충전을 향한다. 주 2회 이상 전기차를 충전하는 비율이 70%나 될 정도로, 전기차 충전은 필수 일과 중 하나로 자리잡게 되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 충전 시간, 완충 시 주행 거리, 충전소의 개수, 충전 주기 등 충전과 관련된 모든 요소가 내연기관 자동차의 주유에 미치지 못한다. 따라서 충전 인프라에 대한 개선이 불가피하다.

더불어, 대부분의 사람들은 전기차를 충전하는 동안, 차내 혹은 차 근처에 머무르며 휴식을 취하거나 작은 일과를 소화한다. 따라서, 서울의 중심이자 광역도로인 삼각지에 용산공원과 연계하여 휴식을 취하고 차크닉을 할 수 있는 전기차 충전소를 제안한다. 차로 건물의 어디든 갈 수 있고, 건물의 어디서든 차를 충전할 수 있다. 높은 층일수록 경관이 좋고, 오래 머무르며, 규칙성이 사라지고, 충전을 천천히 한다.

Already, electric cars are overcrowded compared to chargers, and in fact, most of the hardships of those who ride electric cars were toward charging, and charging has become the essential tasks. Nevertheless, all factors related to charging, such as charging time, mileage, number of charging stations, and charging cycle, do not reach the refueling of engine cars.

Also, most people stay in or near a car while charging an electric car, taking a break or doing small routines. Therefore, in Samgakji, the center of Seoul, I want to design an electric vehicle charging station where people can relax or car-picnic in connection with Yongsan Park. Visitors can go anywhere in the building by car and charge your car anywhere in the building.

Site

삼각지 전쟁기념관 서측 부지는 단지를 형성하거나 새롭고 거대한 건물을 만들기 어려운 선형 부지이다. 하지만 차량은 직선 방향으로 움직이기에 차량을 위한 건물을 짓기엔 좋은 조건이라고 할 수 있다. 더불어 이곳은 마포, 이태원, 한남동, 서울역, 중구, 용산역, 동작구로 갈 수 있는 서울의 중심에 위치한 광역 교차로이다. 따라서 차량 및 사람의 접근성이 좋고, 전기차 충전을 위한 방문 잠재력이 높다.

게다가 용산공원과 남산의 자연 경관과 한강대로의 도시 경관을 모두 내려다 볼 수 있는 위치이며, 한강대로를 통해 오는 차들은 이 사이트의 뒷 배경으로 남산 타워를 볼 수 있다. 또한, 주변에 인프라가 잘 갖춰져있고, 놀거리가 많아 충전을 맡긴 후 즐길 수 있는 컨텐츠가 많기 때문에 이 사이트를 선정하게 되었다.

The site on the west side of the Samgakji War Memorial Hall is a linear site that is difficult to form a complex or create a new and huge building. However, since the vehicle moves in a straight line, it can be said to be a good condition to build a building for the vehicle. In addition, this is a wide-area intersection located in the center of Seoul that can go to Mapo, Itaewon, Hannam-dong, Seoul Station, Jung-gu, Yongsan Station, and Dongjak-gu. Therefore, it has good accessibility to vehicles and people, and has high visit potential for charging electric vehicles.

In addition, it is located where you can overlook both the natural scenery of Yongsan Park and Namsan Mountain and the urban landscape of Hangang-daero, and cars coming through Hangang-daero can see Namsan Tower as the background of the site. In addition, there are many infrastructure and things to play around, so I choose this site because there are many contents that visitors can enjoy after charging car.

Design

법규에 의해 매스를 배치한 후, 기존의 도로를 유지하며 매스를 분리시켰다. 또한, 용산공원과 남산타워 경관을 위해 매스를 더 잘라냈고, 차량 동선을 나타내는 형태로 디자인한 후, 매스를 모두 띄워 1층에 공원을 조성했다. 그리고 건물의 어디든 차가 갈 수 있도록 차량 동선을 만든 후, 매스 형태와 기능에 맞는 입면을 만들었다.

After arranging the mass according to the law, the mass was separated by maintaining the existing road. In addition, more mass was cut for the scenery of Yongsan Park and Namsan Tower, and after designing it in the form of representing the movement of vehicles, all mass was floated to create a park on the first floor. And after creating a vehicle movement line so that the car can go anywhere in the building, an elevation suitable for the mass shape and function was created.

Program

차크닉 공간은 건물의 기둥이 곧 전기차 충전기이기 때문에 사용자가 자유롭게 차를 주차하여 충전과 함께 용산 공원 경관을 보며 차크닉을 즐길 수 있다. 작은 조경과 실내 휴식 공간까지 마련되어있어 빠른 도시의 속도를 늦추고 바쁜 도시 사람들이 쉬어갈 수 있도록 유도한다. 또한, 휴식과 차크닉을 위한 드라이브 스루 카페나 편의 시설 역시 저층부에 마련되어있어 차크닉 공간까지 가는 길에 들를 수 있다.

Since the column of the building is an electric car charger, users can freely park their cars and enjoy the view of Yongsan Park along with charging. There are even small landscaping and indoor rest areas, slowing down the speed of the city and inducing busy city people to rest. In addition, drive-through cafes and convenience facilities for relaxation and car-picnic are also located on the lower floor, so people can stop by on their way to the car-picnic space.

Axonometric

천장엔 BIPV 패널을 설치하여 전기차를 충전하기 위한 전기를 자연으로부터 직접 생산한다.
입면의 수직 목재 루버는 차량 동선의 흐름을 간접적으로 나타내고, 건물 내로 자연광이 과하게 침투하는 것은 막으며 건물 내에서의 외부 경관은 막지 않는다.
콘크리트 구조를 사용하여 자동차가 사용하는 건물에 적합하고 편안한 환경을 제공한다. 반례로, 철골 구조를 사용한다면 자동차로 인한 소음이 매우 심하다.
차량 동선이 3개의 건물 모든 층으로 연결되어 차로 건물의 어디든 갈 수 있다. 건물 층별로 각기 다른 프로그램이 계획되어 있어 방문객의 선호대로 이용할 수 있다.
1층에는 공원이 계획되어있어 방문객 뿐만 아니라 지나가는 사람들도 쉴 수 있다.

1. BIPV panels are installed on the ceiling to generate electricity directly from nature to charge electric vehicles.

2. The vertical wood louver on the elevation indirectly represents the flow of vehicle movement, prevents excessive penetration of natural light into the building, and does not block the external view within the building.

3. It uses concrete structures to provide a comfortable environment suitable for the buildings used by automobiles. On the contrary, if a steel structure is used, there is a lot of noise from cars.

4. Vehicle movements are connected to all floors of the three buildings, so you can go anywhere in the building by car. Different programs are planned for each floor of the building, so visitors can use them according to their preferences.

5. A park is planned on the first floor, so not only visitors but also passers-by can rest.
