Agenda
재조형화 대상 건물인 Rolex Learning Center는 Sanaa가 설계한 건물로, 하나의 곡면과 곳곳에 구멍이 뚫린 외관을 가지고 있다. 주변환경과 조화를 이루고 간결함과 절제미를 추구하는 Sanaa의 작업방식이 드러난다.
주변의 지형을 특징으로 삼아 건물을 설계하였다는 점에 집중하여 등고선을 이용하고자 하였다. 구멍은 층을 가로지르는 특성을 이용하여 뱀으로 재조형하였다.
The Rolex Learning Center which is designed by Sanaa was the subject of reconstructing project. It has a single curved surface and perforated exterior. Sanaa designs buildings that stand out for simplicity and moderation while harmonizing with the surrounding environment.
Focusing on the fact that the building was designed by characterizing the surrounding terrain, I tried to use the contour lines. The hole was reshaped into a snake using the property of crossing the floor.
