축구공에서 느껴지는 패턴의 펼쳐짐을 모티브 삼아 사물을 추상화하였다. 축구공의 각 패턴들은 모두 흑백의 사각형으로 단순화하였고 펼쳐짐은 사각형에서 육면체로의 확장을 통해 표현하였다. 그 다음 추상화를 바탕으로 모델링을 하였다. 단순화된 삼각형들을 길게 연결시켜 선적인 역동감을 살리고 중간 중간 살짝 들어간 부분으로 포인트를 주었다. 삼각형들을 뫼비우스의 띠와 같은 형태로 연결시켜 순환을 표현해보았다.
The object was abstracted as the motif of the spread of the pattern felt in the soccer ball. Each pattern of soccer ball is simplified to black and white squares, the unfolded is expressed through the extension from square to hexahedron. Then I modeled on the basis of abstraction. By connecting the simplified triangles in a long way, I made use of the dynamism of the shipment and gave the points to the middle part of the middle. I tried to express the circulation by connecting triangles in the form of Möbius’ band.
